Why no comments?
I prefer email. mailto links have been the standard since 1994 and avoid unnecessary complexity. Plus, I think it looks awful when a blog gets spam comments all over the place. By only allowing comments via email, I keep my site clean (my inbox for this site may be another matter).
Will you or someone else spam me if I email you?

Any emails sent to me are confidential. I don’t share or sell any information, ever. If you send an interesting comment that I’d like to put on this site, I’ll always ask.
If you’re still uneasy, you can always use a disposable email address or a forwarding service such as Firefox Relay or addy.io.
